See You At Mike’s New Forum?

I’m not really too big on forums, they intimidate me, especially the big ones with all the experts in it. It’s rather intimidating especially when you’re a newbi and you answers like “Google it” to newbie questions.
But when Mike Cowles said he had a new forum up, I went there quick. 
You see, Mike’s one of the is one of the people I trust, and one of the most helpful people when it comes to IM — just take a look at his blog and you’ll see what I mean.
Or better yet, drop by at the forum he just put up, introduce yourself, answer questions or even help answer a few. See you there!

Hmm..very interesting pop quiz. Which host does WordPress.org recommend? Are you sure the answer is correct. I thought it was Hostgator but when the answer is revealed, Bluehost is there.
Okay, so I was wrong. Or, was I? Let’s see what the little text ad says in the footer, shall we go take a peek? Come on, let’s go! Look! Now WordPress.org recommends Hostgator! Now that’s the shocking answer, isn’t it?
Waz’ up, boys? Is the answer both? Can it be? I guess so, it’s your blog party, you get to pick the answers. Okay.
Darn it, I always thought it was Hostgator too!
Although back when I was started with WordPress and my first self-hosted blog in the age of dinosaurs, neither Bluehost nor Hostgator were among the recommendations, couple more that I don’t see in the “top-hosting companies” sites– no Hostgator yet back then, I think.
My first account was on Bluehost — it works well for the smaller, simpler ones, but it’s given me some problems with a few plug-ins I needed.
I haven’t had any trouble with the ones on Hostgator.
